I had a noisy transformer in my garage door opener that made a constant and very annoying buzzing sound even when not in use.

5 screws and two plugs later no buzz and a garage door that works. 120 208 240 volt compatible. A very common call that i receive is concerning the garage door opener making a buzzing sound when the wall mount button is pressed but nothing else happens. I pressed and got him to tell me the source of the noise so we took off the cover and found out it was a 35 transformer.

I then ask the customer the approximate age and usage of the garage door. The garage door company wanted to sell me a new 600 opener. Not sure what to expect with replacement. If it is used frequently or is at least five years old.

I had a transformer buzzing so i ordered a new one here. Due to the voltage versatility of this transformer this is a good one for the shelf or truck. Posted by unknown on 11th oct 2017 this part works ok but original one only lasted 2 years. Replaces burned out transformer usually found directly on the circuit board.
